Hi, Liezel here 🌸 

Welcome to my website! I am so thrilled that you have taken the time to visit and explore the world of art with me. For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of teaching art in various settings, including Public Schools, IB programs, and private art lessons form Balhannah in the Adelaide hills. My passion for art and teaching has led me on an incredible journey, and I am excited to share my experiences with you.

You may have noticed that this website hasn’t been updated for a while. That’s because I have been busy teaching at Flinders University, where I was asked to join the faculty by my art mentor and University lecturer. It has been an honor to contribute to the education of aspiring Art Teachers and further develop my own skills in the process.

But that’s not all! I have recently embarked on a new venture called Booji Blankets. This endeavor allows me to combine my love for animals, African and Indigenous Australian patterns, art, and manchester. Woop, woop!! 🙂 Through Booji Blankets, I create unique and vibrant designs that can be enjoyed as blankets, towels, and more. You can also join our pet loving community on our social media platforms where you can share photos of your pets on their Booji Blankets. 

I invite you to explore the website and discover the various free art lessons, books, and products I have to offer. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just starting out, there is something for everyone.

As a special treat, I hope to add some less expensive art materials and resources that I have sourced and tried myself. I’ll be trying to add some affiliate links as soon as I learn how to do this from Youtube 😂
